Prayer of the Day—No. 8

In honor of International Women’s Day, I thought I’d dedicate this prayer to the women I know, love, will forever have memory of, cross paths with, those I will come to know, and the hearts of the women reading this.

For every woman in your life, love them. Cherish them. Appreciate them. Honor them. Celebrate them. Support them. Uplift them. Hold them. Respect them. Love them—abundantly.

Prayer of the day—No. 8

Wonderful God,

I am in awe of your creation. You were intentional in the makings of women. You’ve created us to be some of the most strong, soft, nurturing, loving, anointed, intelligent, and most beautiful pillars of this world. For the special woman reading this, I pray that you would remind her that the same way we find wonder in you, is the same way you feel about us. You find us worthy, lovable, and valuable. You see us as perfectly made. You call us your own and that in and of itself is an honor. God, may you continue to cover and protect her. Press your hand upon her life, in a way that keeps her assured, affirmed, and protected. Keep your loving arms around her. Shield the gift you’ve placed down on the inside of her. She has something this world needs. That only SHE can provide by your glory working through her. Help her shine her brightest as she enters every room. May others see your beauty through her. May her feet be planted in spaces that she’s only ever prayer for. May she feel the delight you find in her. Move mightily through her, Father. May all she encounter love, respect, and honor her presence. Be with her. Go before her. Lead and guide her along her journey. Let her know that she is seen, heard, and understood. may she feel loved reading this. We thank you, God. Amen!
