Prayer of the Day No. 5—Focus

Part two.

Great God,

As we enter into a new week, may our ears, eyes, and mindset be set on focus. Allow us to have a clear view of you as you lead us into each new day this week by your grace and mercy. Go before us, Father. Go before us in every encounter. Help us to be conduits of your kindness. Better stewards of our thoughts, words, and actions. And may they all align with your goodness. Let the words, thoughts, and actions be those that bless and not hurt or harm. Even to ourselves, Heavenly Father. Keep our hearts focused on what it is you have called us to do this week. Each assignment you have placed before us, help us care for it well. In this week to come, help us to focus on you more than our lack—allowing the presence of you & the trust we have in you to be well within our souls. We serve an all sufficient God, and we know you will supply every need. We believe it! Help us to focus on you and not the distractions or worries this world can bring. But, you, and you alone. We trust that this will be a great week ahead with great focus. We love you! Amen.
