Prayer of the Day—No. 16

Loving God,

Thank you. Thank you for never leaving me behind and thank you for never leaving my side. Thank you for loving every broken part of me; past the ignorance, past the mistakes that turned into decisions I made over and over again, past the times I was angry with you, past the situations I put myself through, past turning away from where you wanted to lead me, past the broken heart, past the disobedience, past the shame, you have never left me. You see me as worthy. You see me as beautiful, still... You lead me, still. You give me peace, still. You cover me with your love, still. And I am so very grateful, so very thankful, to have the relationship I do with you. You have always been the answer. You have given me every reason to love you—just being you. You have shown me every reason to love myself. Help me to see myself the through your eyes. Help me to speak words of love, kindness, and compassion to myself. Help me to speak the truth of what you say about me, over me. I pray for anyone who is in this same posture...keep showing them...they're worthy. They're loved. They’re wanted. Thank you, my God...Thank you, Lord. I love you. Amen.
