Prayer of the Day—No. 20

Gracious God,

I thank you. I thank you for listening with an open heart to my prayers. I thank you that no matter what I bring to your feet that you never abandon me. I thank you for listening to my hopes and desires about life, love, fellowship, community, dreams, visions, and ideas. I also thank you for being the one I find safety in. I am grateful that I can bring my honesty, weaknesses, and sadness to you. You listen to me in the moments where I feel uncreative, distant, and not hopeful. I am thankful I find calmness and ease in your presence. That alone is an answer to it all. I come to you today & in intercession of those who feel stand hopeless. I pray that you would send a fresh wind into their lives. I pray that they would hear your voice and that the stillness  will remove all things clouding their minds from hearing from you. May they only hear your voice—the voice of love, truth, kindness, compassion, and comfort. I pray that in being in your presence, it would uproot their unbelief, doubt, and worry. Replace each thought with your voice of clarity, love, and reassurance. Replace it with creativity ten times over. Replace & restore everything they feel they lost with your greater will for their lives. God, we thank you, trusting that you’re already moving on our behalf. We thank you for hope. Hope in your. Hope in the future you have planned for us. Hope in love. We seal this prayer in confidence. We love you. We thank you. Amen.
